Mug and Plant Swap

The Konírna Community Center, together with the Louka Community Center, is organizing a mug and plant swap. With this event, they are joining a unique week-long Swap Festival organized by Swap Prague, z. s..

Thanks to the participation of dozens of locations across Prague and beyond, the festival aspires to become the largest swap in the world. The goal of the event is to connect communities across the country and show the general public that responsible consumption can be fun and easy. At KC Konírna, the event also fulfills the wish of last year’s mug swap participants, who welcomed it with enthusiasm and wished for it to become a recurring event.

Admission: Free
 

As part of the event, you can bring mugs and cups to KC Konírna that you no longer use, don’t like, or received as an unwanted gift and nobody uses them… Simply bring any mug, offer it to others, exchange it for a different one, or just stop by to find joy in choosing a new favorite mug to take home.

Since spring is also the time for decluttering, repotting houseplants, planting seedlings, and working in the garden, the swap has been expanded to include indoor and garden plants. You can bring plants you have in excess at home, rooted leaves of houseplants, offshoots, bulbs ready for planting, or surplus spring seedlings. You may also bring freshly cut parts of plants (herbal cuttings) that can root in the care of a new owner. And of course, you are welcome to take home any plant offered, in addition to your chosen mug. The joy of giving and receiving can therefore be doubled.
