Arrival of the Slavs to Our Lands

This lecture, part of the Milestones of Czech History series, will explore the expansion of the Slavs, their encounters with Germanic and other ethnic groups, and their settlement in Bohemia and Moravia.

You will learn about the origins of the Slavs, their migration routes, and their role in shaping the history of the region. The event also pays tribute to historian Jan P. Kučera (1948–2025). The lecture will be delivered by Jakub Rychtar.
